Saint-François est l'un des pôles touristiques les plus connus de l'île, mais il affiche un double visage. Il s'agit d'abord d'un vieux village de pêcheurs assez étendu, un écheveau de maisons basses, de cases rustiques en bois de tôle resserré autour d'une charmante place centrale avec sa vieille église, sa mairie et, un peu loin, le marché couvert. Le quartier de la marina, plus récent et construit pour répondre à l'expansion du tourisme. Saint François vous séduira surtout avec ses nombreux prestataires touristiques comme son golf, son aérodrome, son nouveau casino et une plage à ne pas manquer, Les Raisins Clairs.
